The American Optometric Association (AOA) and the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA) opened registration for Optometry’s Meeting 2026, which is scheduled for June 17-20 in Phoenix. The 129th AOA Congress and the 58th AOSA Conference include four days of education, networking, and professional development for doctors, paraoptometrics, office staff, optometry students, and industry professionals.
Registration is open to members and nonmembers can register through an AOA profile, and early-bird pricing is available through March 31.
Education and Exhibit Hall
Along with an expansive exhibit hall, Optometry’s Meeting 2026 will offer more than 300 hours of continuing education and professional development programming for doctors, paraoptometrics, and optometry students with more than 125 speakers. Plus, attendees can access 15 hands-on workshops on the latest technological and scope advancements. In addition, the Education Theater will return to Eye Care Square with 12 new courses designed for the full care team.
Special Event Highlights
Optometry’s Meeting 2026 will include a series of networking, education, and community-focused events designed to complement the conference’s CE and exhibit programming. Some of the highlights will include:
- AOA Experience: Opening General Session (June 17). The conference kickoff, which will be followed by the Eye Care Square Opening Reception with opportunities for attendees to connect.
- Innovation Hub (June 16-17). A spotlight on industry innovators shaping the future of eye health and vision care.
- Celebration of Optometry (June 19) This ticketed closing event at Warehouse 215 will conclude the meeting.
- AOA Foundation 5K (June 19). A 3.1-mile run for attendees (plus a performance T-shirt and medal) that will include a “Sleep In” option for those who still want to support the AOA Foundation.
AOA+ Programming
AOA+ will again focus on career acceleration, professional advocacy, and building connections for optometry students and early-career optometrists. Travel grants are available following registration.
