All About Vision is marking its 25th anniversary with a brand relaunch and expanded editorial mission that will broaden its coverage of eye health, vision science, overall health, and medical innovation.
The platform, which reaches more than 12 million readers annually, has traditionally focused on eye care education for patients, caregivers, and eye care professionals. Its expanded approach will examine how eye health connects with overall health while continuing to provide consumer-focused information on vision conditions and care.
Response to AI Use
All About Vision says the relaunch responds to changes in how consumers find health information online, including the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. The platform will emphasize evidence-based information developed by health writers and written or reviewed by licensed eye care professionals on its medical review team.
“As an optometrist, I see firsthand how closely eye health is connected to overall well-being and how often patients lack clear, trustworthy information to guide their decisions,” says Dr. Michael S. Cooper, executive director of medical content. “All About Vision is built to meet that need, offering credible, expert-backed content across issues ranging from everyday vision concerns to the latest medical innovations, helping people better understand their eye health and its role in their broader health journey.”

Expanding Eye Health Coverage
The platform will provide coverage such as in-depth reporting on emerging eye health and vision technologies, expert-backed condition explainers and stories highlighting the real-world impact of eye care advancements.
“For many readers, eye health can feel complex or even overwhelming,” says Marge Axelrad, editorial advisor and ophthalmic industry journalist. “Our goal is to make that information more approachable without sacrificing depth or credibility.”
All About Vision launched 25 years ago with a focus on translating medical and scientific information about vision for consumers. The platform, which is supported by EssilorLuxottica, now serves patients, caregivers, and eye care professionals globally.
