Flexon Eyewear has introduced two optical frames featuring a new temple design with a built-in extendable rubber lanyard and magnetic closure.

The Flexon E1181 and E1182, part of the brand’s Evolution collection, combine the new temple feature with Flexon memory metal in the bridge. The memory metal technology allows the frames to flex, bend, or twist before returning to their original shape.

Wearers can pull the sides of the temples to extend the lanyard and secure it magnetically around the base of the neck, helping keep the eyewear within reach when not being worn. When the lanyard is no longer needed, wearers can disconnect the magnetic closure and slide the rubber portion back into the temples.

Two New Optical Styles

E1181, a rectangular optical shape, is featured in Flexon’s Fall/Winter advertising campaign. The frame is available in Matte Black, Matte Light Gunmetal, and Matte Navy.

The E1182 offers a semi-rimless construction designed as a lightweight alternative. Color options include Matte Black, Matte Gunmetal, and Matte Light Gunmetal.

Both new styles also feature adjustable nose pads and lightweight construction.

Flexon will distribute E1181 and E1182 to select optical retailers throughout the United States as well as select international markets.

About Flexon

The new frames expand Flexon’s Evolution collection with a temple feature that builds on the brand’s existing use of memory metal technology while incorporating the extendable lanyard directly into the frame. Flexon Eyewear builds its frames with memory metal designed to flex, bend, or twist and return to its original shape.

The Marchon Eyewear brand offers optical styles in a range of classic and modern shapes, with a focus on lightweight construction and durability for active wear. Flexon frames are available through optical retailers and the brand’s website.
