Vision Expo has partnered with CEwire to launch Vision Expo powered by CEwire. The new virtual continuing education (CE) event will provide optometrists with access to education recorded at Vision Expo 2026.
The event will take place Oct. 17–18 and offer 10 hours of Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (COPE)-accredited CE over two days. Selected sessions recorded during Vision Expo 2026 in Orlando will form the educational program, with speakers returning for live Q&A and interaction with attendees.
Following the two-day event, the virtual content will remain available through the end of 2026.
“We’re excited to partner with Vision Expo on the development of this online event, as we share a common mission of providing high-quality clinical education,” says Dr. Adam W. Farkas, founder and chief executive of CEwire.
Extending Vision Expo Education
Registration for Vision Expo powered by CEwire costs $99 for optometrists and is complimentary for those already registered for CEwire’s annual CE program. Attendees will also receive the $99 registration fee back as a credit toward Vision Expo 2027 in Las Vegas.
CEwire has provided virtual CE programming to more than 14,000 optometrists over the past decade, according to Dr. Farkas.
“Vision Expo powered by CEwire is designed to complement, not replace, the in-person Vision Expo experience our community values,” says April Stackhouse, event vice president of Vision Expo. “Partnering with CEwire, a name that optometrists already know and trust for online CE, made it easy to bring that same quality directly to them this fall.”
Looking Ahead to Las Vegas
Vision Expo will return to The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas March 10–13, 2027. In-person accredited CE begins March 10, followed by the exhibit hall opening March 11.
The 2027 event will include optometric, opticianry, and business education alongside eyewear, eye care, technology, and product exhibits. Vision Expo also plans networking events, partner programs, and industry celebrations throughout the event.
Registration for Vision Expo 2027 is scheduled to open in November.
