CooperVision has appointed Brenda Raphael as vice president of marketing, Americas. In the role, she will oversee the company’s U.S. marketing efforts across its brand portfolio, customer marketing, and professional affairs.
Raphael joins CooperVision as the company says it continues to expand its marketing capabilities through data-driven decision-making, omnichannel customer engagement, and customer-focused marketing strategies.
“Brenda offers a rare combination of strategic vision, commercial acumen, and proven execution,” says Steven Robins, president, Americas, CooperVision. “Her ability to translate customer insights into growth-driving strategies will be instrumental as we continue to elevate our marketing impact and deliver meaningful value to customers and wearers.”
Marketing and Leadership Experience
Raphael brings more than 20 years of marketing and commercial leadership experience across several global companies, including Pfizer, Bayer, Novartis, Procter & Gamble, and The Coca-Cola Company. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
Most recently, she worked as a marketing and business consultant, advising organizations on brand transformation, growth strategy, and commercialization. According to CooperVision, her experience includes building strong brands, supporting new product commercialization, and developing customer-focused marketing initiatives.
The company says Raphael’s background aligns with its ongoing efforts to provide more personalized marketing and strengthen partnerships with eye care professionals.
“I’m inspired by the opportunity to help shape the next phase of growth at CooperVision,” says Raphael. “There is significant opportunity to further connect with customers in meaningful ways, unlock their growth through sharper category insights, and support them with a marketing organization that is both agile and future-ready.”
Community Involvement
Outside of her professional career, Raphael serves as board chair of the Alzheimer’s Association of the Hudson Valley and is a member of the executive committee of The Pantry, a community food pantry.
