Transitions Optical has launched Transitions VisionNEXT, an educational workshop series designed to prepare eye care professionals for light-adaptive and smart eyewear. The program, which will roll out across select U.S. cities beginning this spring, with five confirmed dates between Hartford, Conn., and Nashville, Tenn.

The initiative aims to help independent practices translate these emerging technologies—into actionable insights for patient care. Transitions, part of the EssilorLuxottica group, is positioning VisionNEXT as a way to equip ECPs with the tools and confidence to modernize the in-office experience, meet patient expectations, and elevate the standard of care.

These workshops are complimentary and open to all U.S. eyecare professionals.

Resources and Training Opportunities

  • Transitions Certified Live (1 ABO credit). This immersive session focuses on light science, visual comfort, and real-world performance of dynamic lenses as an everyday solution.
  • Dynamic by Design: Smart Eyewear in Practice. This non-CE session explores AI wearables, smart glasses, and how to personalize recommendations for patients.
  • Hands-on training. Direct engagement with subject-matter experts from Transitions Optical and EssilorLuxottica who offer guidance on emerging eyewear technologies.
  • Certified Expert Welcome Kit. Includes a tech bag and lapel pin to signal expertise within ECP’s practices.
  • Transitions Certified Practice advantages. Eligibility for the Points Plus program and preferred placement on the Transitions locator with a Certified Practice badge.
  • Practice-building demo tools. Includes an eight-lens demo box and Color Match QR ruby plaque to support patient education and in-office storytelling.
