IDOC has launched Clerra, a new ophthalmic lens portfolio available through IDOC Labs, the organization’s network of optical laboratories. Designed to simplify lens dispensing for independent optometric practices, the company says the new range aims to reduce complexity while maintaining access to modern lens technologies.
According to IDOC, Clerra was developed to help practices navigating a large number of lens brands, products, and stock-keeping units when recommending lenses. This curated lens lineup is intended to cover approximately 90% of a practice’s everyday dispensing needs.
Lens Options
The Clerra portfolio includes both single-vision and progressive lenses. They are available in a range of materials, including plastic, polycarbonate, Trivex, high-index, and super-thin designs.
Patients also have access to several Clerra premium lens options, including anti-reflective coatings, photochromic lenses, and polarized lenses.
Simplifying the Dispensing Process
According to analysis of its member lab invoices, IDOC says Clerra can help practices save at least 25% on typical lab bills while streamlining dispensing conversations and increasing capture rates.
Dave Brown, CEO of IDOC, says this new lens range makes dispensing easier for staff and patients while still providing access to current lens technologies.
“Clerra represents a smarter, more efficient way for independent practices to serve their patients while strengthening their business,” says Brown. “By simplifying the lens decision process into a focused, high-performing range, practices can spend less time explaining options and more time building trust with patients.”
