It’s clear that optics is a passion for Phernell Walker, MBA, ABOM, NCLEC, LDO. Recently named the Chairperson of the American Board of Opticianry, he is one of only a few hundred people ever to earn the esteemed Master’s in Ophthalmic Optics. Walker is also a renowned speaker and the author of the textbook, “Pure Optics,” which he wrote to help his students prepare for the ABO exams.
