The House of MODO has launched EyeFly, a new smart eyewear product built around audio connectivity and everyday wearability. Designed to resemble premium optical frames, EyeFly smart eyewear integrates open-ear audio and hands-free features built directly into the temples, offering listening and communication capabilities without earbuds, cables, or screens.

“With EyeFly, we are excited to enter the tech world with a product that condenses the real functionality of today’s wearable technology into frames that look and feel premium,” says Alessandro Lanaro, House of MODO founder and global CEO.

Smart Features

EyeFly uses directional open-ear audio to deliver clear, immersive sound while keeping ears unobstructed, according to the company. Built-in microphones support calls and voice assistant interactions, and touch-sensitive temple controls enable one-tap access. The company also shares that EyeFly provide up to six hours of continuous listening or call time. EyeFly works with popular apps and voice assistants as well.

Frame Details

EyeFly frames weigh approximately 40 grams and are available in multiple styles, colors, and lens options. In addition, EyeFly’s modular temple system allows users to swap smart audio temples for standard temples to convert the frame into a traditional optical style. This positions the product as adaptable for both connected and non-connected use, a system the company describes as “smart when you need it, classic when you don’t.”

Camera-Free

Unlike camera-enabled smart glasses, EyeFly is audio-only, with no visual capture or recording functionality. The company said the approach is intended to allow users to remain connected while maintaining awareness of their surroundings and protecting privacy.

Focusing on audio-only functionality offers “an open-ear experience that keeps you connected while preserving both your privacy and that of the person you are talking to,” says Lanaro.
