MIDO | Milano Eyewear Show (MIDO) ran Jan. 31 through Feb. 2 at Fiera Milano Rho, bringing together the international eyewear supply chain for three days of exhibits, meetings, and industry programming. The event gathered manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, and media.
“This is MIDO: a unique energy you feel the moment you walk in,” says Lorraine Berton, president of MIDO and ANFAO. “It is the heart of global eyewear, a place where exhibitors from more than 50 countries meet visitors from over 160 nations. In just three days, the entire supply chain takes shape: new products are unveiled, relationships are built, and the future is envisioned.”
By the Numbers
According to organizers, MIDO 2026 hosted approximately 1,200 exhibitors, including 270 Italian and 930 international companies, representing about 50 countries. Among them were 140 new exhibitors compared to the previous year. They spanned eight exhibition areas across seven pavilions.
Organizers said attendance exceeded 42,000 visitors, including more than 400 journalists present, adding that support from the Italian Trade Agency helped bring more than 200 international delegates from 56 countries.
Other programming featured more than 20 workshops and meetings at The Vision Stage, covering topics such as leadership, geopolitics, sustainability, marketing, and more. MIDO also debuted The Lens of Time exhibition, tracing the evolution of eyewear design and manufacturing.
