NOW by The Vision Council and GoodVision USA have launched an online charity auction featuring eyewear donated by 2026 NOW Awards nominees and winners.
The NOW x GoodVision auction is now open and runs through Oct. 14, with bidding open to the public. All proceeds will support GoodVision programs providing access to vision care in 11 countries across Africa, Asia, and South America.
NOW Award Designs Supporting Vision Care
The auction features pieces submitted for the 2026 NOW Awards from more than 20 designers and brands. Created and directed by Nico Roseillier of UN-TI-TLED Creative Agency by The Vision Council, the NOW Awards recognize original eyewear design and emerging creative talent.
The 2026 awards marked the first time the program accepted submissions from the entire global optical community, drawing entries from independent designers and established brands across multiple countries.
“The NOW Awards have always been about what eyewear can be at its best: a medium for design, identity, and storytelling,” says Roseillier. “This auction gives those frames a second story. The work of our industry’s most creative designers will now fund access to glasses for people who have never had them. That connection feels right.”
“The innovative frames featured in this auction are pulling double duty,” adds Matt Gianino, executive director of GoodVision USA. “Not only are they pushing the envelope of design, they are helping close the vision gap for people who’ve never had access to glasses at all.”
Addressing the Global Vision Gap
The collaboration follows GoodVision USA’s receipt of the NOW Optical Achievement Award at Vision Expo 2025. GoodVision USA is a nonprofit focused on expanding access to corrective eyewear. The organization says more than 950 million people worldwide have preventable vision loss but lack access to corrective eyewear.
GoodVision trains local technicians to conduct eye exams and manufacture glasses on-site using portable, electricity-free equipment for approximately $1in raw materials per pair. The organization has helped more than 1 million people access affordable glasses across 11 countries and created more than 575 permanent local jobs.
