Sanitas Advisors, an operator-led healthcare advisory firm, has appointed Matt Oerding as partner. Oerding recently transitioned from his role as CEO of Treehouse Eyes to board chair.

He will join partners Jeff Poe and John Walborn in advising healthcare organizations on growth strategy, commercialization, operational performance, and market execution.

Healthcare Experience

Before co-founding Treehouse Eyes, Oerding held leadership positions at Novartis and Alcon. At Treehouse Eyes, he helped build one of the nation’s largest pediatric myopia management organizations and contributed to the development of scalable specialty eye care delivery models.

“Healthcare organizations increasingly need partners who can bridge strategy and execution,” said Oerding. “Sanitas was built around the idea that companies need more than strategic recommendations. They need experienced operators who understand commercialization, execution, market adoption, and how to build scalable growth platforms.”

Supporting Care

Sanitas Advisors is a healthcare advisory firm focused on commercialization strategy, operational transformation, AI-enabled growth infrastructure, sales operations, and strategic partnerships. The firm works with healthcare providers, manufacturers, emerging technology companies, and investors.

“Matt has firsthand experience building and scaling an innovative healthcare platform in a highly dynamic market,” said Jeff Poe, partner at Sanitas Advisors. “His background as a founder and operator adds another important dimension to the work we do with healthcare organizations navigating growth and transformation.”

“Sanitas was built by operators for organizations facing real-world growth challenges,” added John Walborn, partner at Sanitas Advisors. “Matt’s experience strengthens our ability to help clients turn strategy into execution.”

Treehouse Eyes

The appointment follows Treehouse Eyes’ recent leadership transition, in which Tony Sommer was named CEO. The pediatric myopia management company says it is entering its next phase of growth and expansion. Oerding will continue in his recently announced role as Treehouse Eyes board chair.
