The Optical Foundry has added new styles to its OGI eyewear collection for fall 2026. The frames explore sculptural metals with unique silhouettes, various color options, and thoughtful craftsmanship. In terms of color, the new collection introduces crisp silver finishes paired with hand-painted color accents. Each style features a precision-milled flat metal construction that creates bold silhouettes that allow shadow, light, and proportion to show through.
“We didn’t set out to simply make metal more colorful. We wanted to give it the same emotional resonance we’ve always brought to acetate, to make precision feel more personal, expressive, and human,” said David Duralde, designer and chief creative officer of The Optical Foundry.
Read on to learn more about the four new optical styles that are all constructed of colorful and subdued metal options.
Arrowhead
Style Arrowhead gives wearers a straightforward design with clean lines and crisp geometry. It features a hand-painted step-down detail that creates a negative space cutaway on the frame front. Constructed of stainless steel, this ophthalmic style is available in black green and fog crimson colorways.

Tamarack
Defined by its pantos shape, style Tamarack is available in black green, chocolate sky, and gunmetal red color options. It offers clean metal rims with subtle cutouts on the bridge and is made of both stainless steel and premium acetate.

Timberline
Optical style Timberline offers a classic geometric square shape with graphic hand-painted accents and a two-tone design on the frame front and temples. Design details include sculpted transitions, adjustable nosepads, and a three-barrel hinge. Colorways include navy cocoa, fog mocha, forest graphite, and crimson fog.

Oh Fer Fun
With a soft round shape, ophthalmic style Oh Fer Fun is available in two color options: blue and black punch. Its milled metal design features a subtle upsweep on the frame front and hand-painted color on its brown corners.
