L’Amy America has expanded the Champion NextGen collection with a new segment for young adults and the addition of new tween frames. The new styles will become a part of the established Youth category as well as Champion NextGen, which is targeted towards young adults with active lifestyles.

The new segment is designed for the up-and-coming generation with purposefully sized and comfortable fit options for in-between consumers with growing faces. Read on to learn more about the design details and craftsmanship of the new styles.

NextGen

The Champion NextGen segment includes athletic influences that allow wearers to transition from school and work to sports, weekends, and other activities. The new frames feature a lightweight acetate construction with the addition of other durable materials. The company says each style was designed to withstand daily wear and tear as well as the demands of busy routines while also offering style, comfort, and performance.

“Champion NextGen was created for a generation that wants eyewear to work as hard as they do,” said Stephen Rappoport, CEO of L’Amy America. “It represents a new chapter for Champion Eyewear, bringing the brand’s athletic heritage and authenticity to older teens and young adults through styles that feel modern, comfortable and relevant.”

Tween Styles

The launch from Champion also includes new tween styles: two for girls and two for boys. These four ophthalmic frames are designed for everyday wear and combine a durable construction with a comfortable fit. Each style features performance-focused and sporty details such as self-adjusting Tri-Flex temples tips and Powerflex hinges that rotate 180 degrees.

Designed for active lifestyles, these frames feature Champion’s signature performance-inspired spirit and style. The new releases also offer age-specific fits that are built for tweens and young adults. The styles are available through optical retailers across the United States.
