De Rigo Group has debuted Police x Zac Efron, a new capsule collection that expands the brand’s partnership with Efron.

The collection includes three sunglass styles developed with the actor’s direct involvement, each featuring Efron’s signature on the temple and lens along with a stud bearing the peace symbol. The acetate frames combine sophisticated shapes with refined details, which the company says reinterprets the bold and recognizable Police style for everyday wear.

The collection also focuses on sustainability and material innovation across all three designs. Packaging is made from 100% recycled paper with an FSC-certified label, along with a pouch in 100% recycled nylon, reinforcing its circular design.

“It felt like a natural next step to create a collection with Police,” says Efron. “We kept it focused on pieces that feel effortless and casual—clean, versatile, and easy to wear. It was also important to make thoughtful choices with the materials. I’m proud of how it came together.”

The Square and The Round

The Square and The Round models are made of Acetate Renew, a material that combines bio-based cellulose from wood pulp, ISCC Plus-certified recycled material, and additional components for durability and performance. The lenses are made of bio-based Nylon, derived in part from castor oil plants, designed to deliver lower environmental impact while maintaining optical properties.

The Mask

The Mask model incorporates rPET with a frame made of 100% recycled plastic bottles. Its Zeiss Sustainable Polyamide lenses contain 39% recycled organic materials and are produced using renewable energy, reducing CO₂ emissions by 50%, according to the company.

The Mask is also available with Irid electronic lenses, which adapt their color and filter to ambient light in 0.09 seconds without requiring batteries or charging.

The Police brand, founded in 1983, is owned by the De Rigo Group, a high-end prescription frames and sunglasses designer, manufacturer, and distributer.
